THE STUDIO
"To hold twilight or watch it darken, describes the pleasure we take in pausing to observe as day slips into night.
To stand at our window, wrapped in the half-dark and watch the day disappear... is a moment of hygge."
Our Hygge (pronounced Hyoo-ga) Studio encompasses all there in the quality of Hygge - the Scandinavian term for coziness and comfortable conviviality - aiming to let you enjoy the peace of being cuddled up on the sofa under a warm and soft throw, it's the feeling of home.
We come from a lineage of Scandinavians. Vikings, if you prefer. But alongside our restaurant, The Buena Viking which lives downstairs and emphasizes "Conquering Your Adventures", we were also raised with a softer side of candles at breakfast, large throws on every chair, little signs of warmth everywhere you look. These early days inspired us to create our Hygge Studio, with enough good books, warm blankets, and touches of softness to make any stay a memorable and reviving one.

One of the few air conditioned properties in Buena Vista, you can enjoy comfort any time of year. With a king-sized bed and a queen-sized memory foam pull-out sofa, there is plenty of room for a couple, small group of friends, or small family.
Don't feel like cooking? Just venture across the street to one of Main Street's many coffee shops for breakfast, or head downstairs to The Buena Viking for the coldest beer, dreamiest cocktails, and best burger in town.
Prefer to stay in? We've got you covered with a fully loaded kitchen and everything you need to whip up something amazing. Your private balcony is ready for your morning coffee or evening happy hour.
And the reason we're all here! In the Hygge Studio, you are only ½ mile away from the Midland hiking and biking trails and the river park. Your outdoor adventure is right at your fingertips when you make this apartment your home. You'll be walking distance to the frisbee golf course, playground, skate park, pump track, a huge trail system, and all the best dining and shopping that Buena Vista has to offer!
If you bring your outdoor toys/bikes/skis/etc, we have a shared closet space for the two studios in the building.
You will have 24 hour emergency contact with the building manager, Chandler. We would love to know how we can make your stay more unique and will be in communication from booking to check-out.
This apartment is located on the second floor involving one flight of stairs.
